Join us for a thought-provoking lecture by Dr. Anna Sosnowska, as she delves into the evolving relationship between Chicago’s Polish-American community and the city’s cultural identity. While Chicago has long been celebrated for its vibrant Polish heritage, Dr. Sosnowska investigates why many Polish-American leaders today feel increasingly disconnected from that legacy.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Anna Sosnowska is an associate professor of sociology at the University of Warsaw and a 2024–2025 Kosciuszko Foundation Scholar at Loyola University Chicago. She is the author of:
